Planet eCam

The Planet eCam PTZ HD Camera is a highly flexible pan tilt zoom camera suited to a large range of indoor tasks which demand high quality video acquisition. The camera will capture in resolutions of up to 1080p 30fps with a large range of output options, including HDMI, HD-SDI and IP network connectivity.

This camera works perfectly with the Planet eStream Live Encoder - you can either capture remotely via IP video output or locally via HDMI/SDI/CVBS connections. Finally, the Planet eCam has a 3.5mm line level audio input, enabling you to embed a separate audio feed into IP video streams generated by the camera.

Planet eTrack

The Planet eTrack is an advanced HD tracking camera ideal for lesson/lecture capture scenarios. The built in facial recognition and motion tracking technology allows the camera to precisely and automatically lock on to and track the educator in Full HD, as they move around their teaching environment. The Planet eTrack allows users to fully automate the filming of lessons or lectures whilst maintaining a high production value.

The tracking function is built on a complex tracking algorithm and two physical cameras sensors within the Planet eTrack. There is a ‘Full View Camera’ that is locked as a wide shot of the teaching area and it is this camera angle that is being used to track. The second camera physically tracks the subject with pan, tilt and zoom functionality. A nice added feature is that both cameras operate in Full HD and can be outputted simultaneously via the dual HD-SDI terminals. The tracking capability can be enhanced further by setting a priority tracking zone and multiple blocked zones. To make the camera fully automated, it will return to a predefined position once the subject becomes absent for a set period of time.

Planet eTrack v2 with IP Output

The Planet eTrack v2 offers the same feature set as the standard Planet eTrack but adds IP video output and an audio input, enabling you to embed an audio feed into the IP video output generated by the camera.
