Our customers use a range of VLE and LMS systems to deliver educational content to their learners. These platforms offer tools and features to support learners both in and out of the classroom. However, none of these platforms are designed to handle large amounts of video content – this is where Planet eStream can assist.
Many of you will be familiar with our range of plugins for adding and sharing content to systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace and Moodle. We also get asked about student submissions of video for assignments and assessment purposes. These can of course be done directly within Planet eStream, but where you are already using Canvas, Blackboard, or Brightspace for submissions you can now use the Planet eStream plugin. Submitted videos will be available for educators to view and assess in the submissions area of their assignment, the videos are hosted within a secure area of Planet eStream. This has also been possible for some time with our Moodle plugin.
